Failed - English bread


Been trying many times on cakes and cupcakes, so felt that it is time to experiment bread....



I will try to find recipe that do not require too much ingredients...
As I don't like to buy and used it once and the rest keep in the cupboard and wait for it to go bad...

Just happen to found this recipe on this blog by Happy Home Baking...
And I have all the required ingredients, therefore is time to experiment.

Frankly speaking, bread making takes a lot of strength.
Because there is no bread machine at home, therefore everything is "hand-made"
And the most important step of bread making is kneading!
If the kneading is not correct or not enough, the dough will probably not proofed enough and subsequently affect the baking.
So, bread making is not as easy as it seems... *sigh*


Comparing the end results of HHB and mine, is totally miles apart.
Mine turned out hard crust and as it cooled completely, it gets harder.... (-_-)'''
























Looks like is more practice to make perfect!

Practice makes perfect, I am sure very soon you will be able to make delicious bread. It is a lot of hard work kneading bread by hand, especially for lau aunty like me ;)
yet, nothing is more rewarding than a loaf of homemade bread :) 加油!
